The Hartford Courant reports that Hartford-area college officials signed a mutual emergency aid pact on Wednesday. While this pact had been planned before the Virginia Tech shootings, the tragedy served a stark reminder for campus disaster plans. St. Joseph, Goodwin College, Trinity College, the University of Hartford and Wesleyan University all agreed to assist each other in the event of such as fires, hurricanes, and other disasters.
