MAYVILLE, WISCONSIN–May 14, 2007–Stantron®, a division of Mayville Products Corporation, today announced plans to exhibit at its first Infocomm show (Los Angeles Convention Center, June 19-21, Booth 8438). The company will showcase its recently launched range of Stantron® brand racks and accessories for the professional A/V industry, including the new Presentation Rack, new PowerMount? system for its range of thin power strips and a new range of cable management options. These systems, along with a full range of products for lighting and cooling, allow Stantron to offer a true complete rack integration solution, customizable to request.
Now shipping, the Stantron Presentation Rack is an aesthetically pleasing, durable mobile rack ideal for presentation needs in classrooms, conference rooms and board rooms. Available in two models, the overall design incorporates the product strengths and benefits associated with Stantron products along with new features that reflect direct input from customers. Both models are fully customizable to fit the requirements of integrators and end users, and simplify equipment re-configuration and routine system care through front- and rear-door access. The Stantron Presentation Rack includes vertical lacing bars for efficient cable management and perforated front/rear panels to ensure proper ventilation among other features.
Stantron will also prominently display its new PowerMount system for mounting vertical power strips within the rack. The system features full length mounting brackets to accept all styles and sizes of vertical Stantron PowerOptions? power strips, and is included with every vertical PowerOptions purchase.
The PowerMount system offers simple, low-cost and effective solutions to common problems, handling the basic function of holding power strips in place while providing the flexibility of affixing power strips in virtually any location inside the rack. PowerMount systems offer a 180 degree swivel feature to rotate the power strip during maintenance or integration procedures such as cabling and access to power cords. The entire strip can face the front, middle or back of the cabinet. The rotating feature also reduces bends in cabling, and more power can be added as power demands increase.
The system also improves overall airflow and enhances equipment cooling since cabling can be taken out of the air path. In situations where a great deal of equipment is stored in a rack, customers can reduce the opportunity for accidental bumping of power cords by facing the power strip directly at the equipment. This reduces worry over power interruptions and/or data loss.
Stantron will also display its new Vertical and Horizontal lacing bars for cable management. Designed with the proprietary ?T? Hook feature, managing cables is made much easier. Replacing the current methods of fishing tie-wraps through small holes, the ?T? Hook allows the installer to loop a connected tie-wrap over the ?T? Hook without struggling with the cables.
Stantron will also display new LightingOptions and CoolingOptions solutions. The low-cost CoolingOptions range of products allows customers to strategically targeting equipment with high heat generation and lower AC and electrical bills. The LightingOptions range works exceptionally well in black or dark colored cabinets and racks containing black cables and power lines, which tend to absorb any lighting outside the cabinet. Lights affix to a magnetic strip, providing a flexible, portable illumination solution for any situation.
