NEWBURY PARK, Calif., June 19, 2007–Advanced Media Design (AMD), developer of the award-winning AV-over-IP collaboration technology MediaPOINTE®, announced its new EMMS (Enterprise Media Management Server) that manages and controls multiple MediaPOINTE appliances, organizes searches, and manages rich audio and video content. Now users with multiple MediaPOINTE appliances have an efficient organization tool that controls and monitors units from a centralized location for quick and efficient hardware and video management EMMS also allows keyword searches from any captured rich media content.

"Our customers have been asking for a one-stop spot where they can manage all their MediaPOINTE appliances and rich media," said Kim Dillard, director of marketing, AMD/MediaPOINTE. "We listened closely and are confident that our EMMS will meet their needs."

EMMS makes managing these tools quick and efficient by providing one point of contact to all MediaPOINTE appliances. The new server-based EMMS allows operators to turn MediaPOINTE digital media recorders, digital network streamers, digital network printers and digital video capture devices on or off; monitor the status of any unit; and download rich media and video content.

Because MediaPOINTE´s EMMS also allows keyword searches for all captured rich media content, users maximize their investment in recorded meetings, training sessions and classes for later review and study. Particular keywords, presenters, attendees, subjects and other criteria can be programmed and searched.
