VIP Tone, Inc. today announced that it will grant FREE,perpetual licenses of its School MATRIX 2.0 web-based data management platformto small K-12 public school districts in the United States. Based on data fromthe National Centerfor Education Statistics (NCES), 8,700 U.S.districts, representing more than half of all U.S. school districts, are eligibleto receive this free software grant. NoSchool Left Behind (NSLB) is a 3-year software grant program, for whichqualified school districts are encouraged to apply before January 15 each year,starting in 2008. School MATRIX 2.0 will start shipping in January 2008to qualified districts that apply for the software grant and that intend todeploy it at the onset of the 2008/09 academic school year.
