The former technology chief for the Dallas Independent School District goes to trial today on charges ranging from bribery and money laundering to conspiracy, the Dallas Morning News reports. Allegations of bribes and kickbacks in DISD's technology department hung like a dark cloud over the beleaguered district for years.
