Social-networking site Classroom 2.0 has teamed up with PBS Teachers and Elluminate Inc. to provide a series of free monthly webinars designed to help K-12 educators learn new ways to integrate online instructional resources into their classrooms and engage students. This month’s webinar, “Diving into the Digital World of Marine Science,” featured Jean-Michel Cousteau, famed explorer, environmentalist, educator, filmmaker, and host of the PBS series Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures. Participants learned how to access the free videos, standards-based lesson plans, and online games available on the Ocean Adventures web site.
