Seminars in Mass., R.I. address ‘sexting’ danger


Students in a number of Massachusetts and Rhode Island schools will be warned this week about "sexting" and other cyber dangers, reports the Boston Herald. On June 1, law enforcement officers will gather at New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School in Massachusetts for two hours of training from internet safety experts. A student assembly will follow. "Sexting" is the term given to the sending of sexually explicit photographs over cell phones. Recent, highly publicized sexting incidents have sometimes involved children as young as 13.
