Turning Technologies and Performance Matters Announce Strategic Partnership

Youngstown, OHTurning Technologies LLC,a leader in the student response industry, and Performance Matters, a pioneer in the field of information management systems, today announced their strategic partnership to align Turning’s student response technology and Performance Matter’s K-12 data management and  assessment solution.  The alignment and seamless integration between their two complementary solutions will provide school systems with an even more compelling and comprehensive solution for driving school achievement.
“Our strategic partnership with Performance Matters is an exciting direction for Turning and our valuable customers.  We will be partnering with over 60 schools across the country in the upcoming school year as part of our large-scale TurnItUp! school achievement implementations, and being able to seamlessly integrate with Performance Matters’ robust information management system provides one more key tool for our proven approach to student achievement.“ stated Mike Broderick Turning Technologies’ CEO.  “We look forward to building our relationship with Performance Matters and providing educators with an easy-to-use and meaningful solution.”
Turning Technologies’ various student response software combined with Turning’s ResponseCard® keypads or ResponseWare™, a web-based polling application, creates a wireless response and voting system that allows teaches to ask students interactive questions related to any type of digital or traditional content.  Student results are instantly displayed allowing teachers to quickly assess student understanding and differentiate instruction.  Results can be collected anonymously or tracked by individual with the use of a participant list and saved for later analysis and instructional planning.
Performance Matters’ web-based data management system is an enterprise platform for data driven decision making for small and large school districts across the country.  This comprehensive solution merges leading and lagging indicators as well as student information systems so that teachers, principals, and school district administrators can quickly and accurately analyze student performance data against state standards in order to differentiate instruction and meet student learning needs.
Woody Dillaha, Performance Matters CEO commented, “This partnership will create significant value for our customers.  Turning’s platform will enhance the value of Performance Matters for the classroom teacher and Performance Matter’s will provide a uniform infrastructure for Turning to scale district wide.  It really is a perfect fit.”
