CARY, N.C. (June 26, 2009) — SchoolDude.com, the nation’s leading provider of on-demand software designed exclusively for educational facility, technology and business operations, announced today that it received the Customer Service Team of the Year award in the computer hardware, services and software category at the seventh annual American Business Awards.

The only national, all-encompassing business awards program in the United States, the American Business Awards seek to honor achievements and positive contributions of business organizations across the country. Winners of the American Business Awards, a prestigious award program under the Stevie Awards umbrella, SchoolDude received a coveted Stevie (Greek for “crowned”) award during recent ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The event was hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on radio by the Business TalkRadio Network.

Companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry submitted more than 2,600 entries to this year’s competition. More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the finalists and winners. The 11 categories for customer service professionals included department and team awards for the financial, banking and software industries.

Helping to differentiate itself from the competition, SchoolDude demonstrates its award-winning dedication to clients through the education industry’s only Legendary Service Program. This commitment to outstanding customer service led to a 99.2-percent client satisfaction rating in 2009 and a 93-percent Net Promoter Score ranking in 2008.

“SchoolDude is dedicated to the total client experience,” said Kent Hudson, SchoolDude’s CEO and co-founder.  “To achieve this level of excellence requires everyone in the company to embrace the philosophy of SchoolDude and to live the commitment of excellence every day. This award is an incredible milestone for SchoolDude and a wonderful achievement for everyone on the SchoolDude team.”

Steve Ternosky, director of buildings and grounds at Morris Hills Regional District in New Jersey, has experienced first-hand the company’s commitment to clients and is impressed with the level of service. “Whenever I call for assistance,” he said, “the last words I always say are, ‘Please say hello to the rest of my SchoolDude family.’ That’s because I am treated more like a family member and not just another client. I am greeted with a warm and friendly voice that truly cares about my service problem and assures me that it will be resolved before I hang up the phone.”

SchoolDude claimed another Stevie award earlier this year for Best Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year. As a winner in that competition, the company automatically received a nomination for the American Business Awards. Details regarding the American Business Awards, as well as the list of finalists and Stevie award winners, are available at http://www.stevieawards.com/aba.
