Virginia teachers get new online help

Virginia teachers have a new online resource to help create lesson plans for their middle and high school students, reports the Associated Press. Gov. Tim Kaine says the state has partnered with Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) and its SAS inSchool division to provide the company’s Curriculum Pathways collection of online resources to Virginia middle schools and high schools at no charge. Kaine says the additional resources will help teachers at a time when school divisions are cutting back. The software gives teachers content that meets state standards in English, history, science, mathematics, social science, and Spanish.
