KMS&T proudly announces that Waking Minds, Writing (WMW) won EdNET’s 2009 Rookie of the Year award as the top new educational solution with significant potential to impact education. The KMS&T team designed and developed the research-based online solution and now sells and supports WMW in North America, South America, and Europe in conjunction with CDI America and Chungdahm Learning. The online writing program engages students in academic writing and self-expression, using an interactive writing pad with over 600 prompts; Lexiled readings; student videos; templates and checklists for every genre and type of writing; student writing samples; metacognitive models for reading and writing strategies; grammar instruction; and criterion-referenced Challenge tests.
