$2,000 to a teacher who implements technology with curriculum

The Foundation for Technology Education in cooperation with Pitsco/Hearlihy and Co. has announced a $2,000 Pitsco/Hearlihy/FTE Grant in honor of Tom and Mary Hearlihy. The grant is for a K-12 technology teacher as a way to recognize and encourage the integration of a quality technology education program within the school curriculum.

Teachers must provide evidence of an effective quality technology education program, show documented success in the integration of technology education with other academic subjects, and provide plans for professional development via the anticipated grant.
