In theory, a new software program from K-12 Systems Inc. was supposed to consolidate grade books and lesson plans into a single, efficient program for Vineland, N.J., teachers. Seven weeks into the school year, however, many elementary school teachers say the software’s one-size-fits-all programming does not accurately reflect what is going on in their classrooms, reports the Daily Journal. Special-education teachers, as well as physical education teachers, find the program difficult to navigate. And last week, elementary school teachers lost all of their students’ spelling grades.
