PORTLAND, Ore. – Nov. 11, 2009 – Aventa Learning, one of the country’s top providers of online education services to school districts, will showcase the ways it serves hundreds of thousands of students around the country at the iNACOL: International Association for Online Learning Virtual School Symposium (VSS), Nov. 15-17 in
Austin, Texas. More than 1,200 K-12 administrators, policy leaders and practitioners will attend the three-day conference, where they will focus on ways that online learning can and is shaping the future of education. Aventa Learning is a “Topaz” sponsor of this year’s event.

(ELL).” Session participants from Aventa Learning’s partner schools will share their experiences offering the company’s standards-based, diagnostically driven curriculum combined with ELL resources and rich
instructional support in a unique credit recovery model to their students. A pioneer in K-12 online learning, Watkins is the former program coordinator of the Georgia Virtual School.
