Win a fellowship to study Abraham Lincoln

Horace Mann and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) have teamed up to offer 50 teachers the opportunity to study the life and legacy of our 16th president. The Fellowship is open to any full-time teacher of Kindergarten through 12th grade of any discipline in the United States. The curriculum is geared toward teachers of students in grades 4 to 12. No special knowledge of history or Lincoln is required. Residents of Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii are not eligible. The Fellowship features two five-day programs, one in June and one in July 2010, at the ALPLM in Springfield, Ill., and it includes complimentary round-trip transportation, lodging, and most meals.
