LAUSD launches ESL instructional videos online


The Los Angeles Unified School District’s Division of Adult and Career Education has made its English as a Second Language (ESL) instructional videos available online for the benefit of community members, EGP News Service reports. Individuals can access Distance Learning online (DLTV) ESL courses by enrolling at their local adult school, where they will receive instructional materials that correspond to the online videos. Upon enrollment, individuals will be able to log in at the district’s Distance Learning web site to watch the ESL videos, while completing at home the instructional materials provided by the adult school. Students can receive additional support by meeting with their ESL instructors on a weekly basis for reviews of completed work.
