New Dimension Media will now serve over 1,100 students in the 156th Illinois School District
(CHICAGO)– Lincoln Elementary School District in Calumet City, Illinois has selected New Dimension Media’s CCC! “Lincoln Elementary School District is a great example of how New Dimension Media is creating access to top-notch educational content for schools at all income-levels,” said Moira Heffernan, New Dimension Media’s Director of Instructional Technology for Illinois. “Through our innovative discount programs—such as the CCC!-Rate program, which is based on a school’s E-Rate—we were able to help the Lincoln Elementary School District enjoy a very significant reduction to the cost of adopting CCC! We believe that cost should not be a significant barrier to students having the cutting-edge, 21st Century classroom technology they need to grow and learn in a global classroom.”
Lincoln Elementary School District was recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education in 2009 as a “Spotlight School,” indicating that Lincoln school are “closing the achievement gap” by demonstrating that schools with lower-income students can show impressive academic performance.
