BRETFORD ADDS LIBRARY FURNITURE TO GSA CONTRACT;
LAUNCHES NEW GSA BUYING GUIDE
CHICAGO — October 1, 2010 — In support of the federal government’s decision to update existing libraries within federal facilities, Bretford Manufacturing, Inc., maker of dependable furniture products that improve how people work and learn, has added library furniture products to its GSA schedule. The library furniture contract is one of three different government furniture contracts the company offers to give its qualified customers simplified and cost-effective product access for libraries, classrooms and other government projects. “There has always been a high demand for Bretford library furniture through a GSA contract, especially when other Bretford furniture is purchased,” said Nat Hawkins, government contracts coordinator for Bretford Manufacturing, Inc. “By adding our library products to the Bretford GSA schedule, customers now have the ability to complete a room with furniture that is designed to work together both functionally and aesthetically.” Hawkins added that all Bretford library furniture purchased through GSA will still come with the company’s 20-year standard warranty.
Bretford’s new GS28F0034W contract includes book trucks, reading tables, lecterns, carrels, the Ithaca library product line and San Francisco library circulation desks. This category also includes shelving, special-purpose furniture, technology tables, and work stations used in library environments.
In addition to the new contract, Bretford’s existing GS29F0134G contract now includes a new category for the company’s Quattro classroom desks. This category also incorporates Bretford’s popular laptop carts, netbook carts, and meeting/conference tables. And Bretford’s existing GS07F9653G contract includes a wide range of projector and flat panel carts, retrofit kits, stands, mounts and other accessories.
The new GSA Buying Guide encapsulates all the information that Bretford’s education and government customers need to make a purchase decision. It includes images of each of the products available on Bretford’s GSA schedule along with a range of environment photos so customers can visualize how Bretford furniture products can be used throughout a room or facility.
