The Association of Educational Publishers recognizes visual learning software

Shaker Heights, Ohio (May 10, 2011) – VizZle, a web-based authoring tool produced by Monarch Teaching Technologies and used to create interactive, visually supported curriculum for children with autism and other learning challenges, is a finalist in the 2011 AEP Awards, organized by the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP). AEP’s annual awards program honors the best in educational resources, and its seal of excellence is widely recognized by educators, administrators and parents as a mark of outstanding educational value.

VizZle is a finalist in the Distinguished Achievement Awards (DAAs) for Special Education and Intervention (Intellectual Disabilities) – Elementary levels. The Distinguished Achievement Awards are judged according to category (Curriculum, Periodicals, Professional Development, and Technology), subject area, and grade level.
