Berkeley, California – May 16, 2011 – Hotmath, Inc., a leading provider of online math review and intervention services, today announced the extension of its popular Catchup Math program with Catchup Math Plus!. This online credit recovery service uses Catchup Math with the added benefit of online math teachers to provide student supervision and assure course completion.

Hotmath, Inc., is offering Catchup Math Plus! to effectively fill gaps in student knowledge and help students make up failed or incomplete grades. “It is critical to Hotmath that we provide students with the tools necessary to succeed in math and graduate,” said Chuck Grant, President of Hotmath, Inc. “Catchup Math Plus! adds another dimension to our Catchup Math online service by including experienced teachers to see students through to a successful completion of their credit recovery courses.”

With Catchup Math Plus!, students are placed into one of five teacher-facilitated credit recovery courses:
• Essentials (Grades 6-7 Math)
• Pre-Algebra
• Algebra 1
• Geometry
• Algebra 2

Using Catchup Math’s adaptive technology, students are re-taught only what they need to learn, propelling them towards success much faster than traditional courses. Experienced math teachers work one-to-one with students remotely to monitor progress and provide support. Schools can designate their own teachers (paid by Hotmath, Inc.), or Hotmath will provide the teachers. Upon course completion, the teacher submits a report card to the school. Catchup Math Plus! can be paid for by schools, or schools can submit checks from parents.

The new Catchup Math Plus! credit recovery courses are available for immediate use and can be explored by starting a free pilot of Catchup Math at For more information about Catchup Math Plus!, please visit
