Amazon expands trade-in program to include electronics

Do you happen to have any unwanted electronics items lying around? An old MP3 player perhaps? A GPS device? A couple of cameras you no longer use? Well, if you do possess any gadgets that spend most of their time at the back of the closet rather than in your hand, Amazon will happily take them off you, reports Digital Trends. On May 18, the Seattle-based company expanded its trade-in program to include thousands of electronics items. Called the “Electronics Trade-In Store,” it offers everyone the chance to trade in unwanted items for Amazon.com gift cards. The list of items that you’re able to trade in includes tablets, cell phones, MP3 players, cameras, GPS devices and more. You can throw them (carefully) into a single box, and best of all, shipping them to Amazon will cost you nothing…
