CHICAGO – Espresso Elementary, the online, multimedia teaching and learning site for Pre-K through Grade 5, and the Utah Education Network (UEN) announced today that Espresso resources will be available to all preschool age children, parents and caregivers across Utah via the UEN’s Preschool Pioneer Online Library. Preschool Pioneer is a collection of web-based resources that are selected specifically to support school readiness for Pre-K children.

This agreement provides all preschool age children in Utah with access to specially created Espresso Learning Centers, a group of Espresso resources that children can complete on their own, or alongside a teacher, parent or caregiver. Learning Centers, each based around a theme, include videos, interactive activities and photos.

The first of the monthly Learning Centers, Trees/Earth Day/Habitats and Rain/Clouds/Seasons were published in April and 22 more themed Learning Centers will be added over the coming year (two added each month).

Lisa Cohne, Director of the Preschool Pioneer Portal comments “UEN is pleased and excited to add new, interesting and engaging content to Preschool Pioneer. We are looking forward to the two dozen Learning Centers that Espresso Elementary will provide to UEN over the coming year. My own young child has had the whole family singing along with him as he has thoroughly enjoyed helping me vet this new content.”

Lewis Bronze, Espresso CEO comments, “We are pleased to be able to provide Espresso resources to each pre-school child across Utah and to support the UEN Preschool Pioneer network. Espresso resources are engaging and fun, but also designed specifically around learning outcomes. We hope, each month, that our themed Learning Centers will excite children and give them the opportunity to learn something new as they prepare for kindergarten.”
