One Washington school district has taken a giant leap this year in pushing students to take college preparatory courses, the Huffington Post reports. Starting in fall 2010, all students in grades 6-12 in Federal Way Public Schools who meet state standards are automatically enrolled in their school’s advanced academic programs.
