To increase their students’ access to the highest-quality educational content, St. Vrain Valley School District in Colorado has adopted CCC! streaming media by New Dimension Media for their MediaCAST streaming video system. This means teachers will be able to augment their classroom lessons with award-winning educational media from providers like Disney Educational Productions, National Geographic Education, BBC Motion Gallery, and more.

St. Vrain Valley is the ninth-largest school district in the State of Colorado, with over 26,000 students in 49 schools. In 2009, the Boulder Valley School District—which borders St. Vrain Valley School District—also adopted CCC! With this adoption, over 60,000 students in Colorado now have access to CCC! in their classrooms.

“We are committed to bringing our teachers and students leading-edge classroom technology,” said Joseph McBreen, Chief Information Officer at St. Vrain Valley School District. “Streaming educational media from CCC! is just one reflection of this commitment.”

“We are delighted that St. Vrain is adopting our product,” said Annie Evans, Regional Education Manager for Colorado for New Dimension Media. “We are continuing to grow our presence in Colorado, and this is an exciting step.”

“We were pleased to be able to participate in this adoption of CCC! through a MediaCAST system,” said Melissa Moreland, Vice President of Acquisitions and Program Development for New Dimension Media. “This adoption illustrates just one of the variety of ways that CCC! can be delivered to students.”
