Management Team Expands with Sales and Technology Expertise

AUSTIN, TX, June 22, 2011—SureScore, the leading provider of college readiness solutions in the K-12 education market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Simon Bodner Ph.D. as CIO of the organization and Kimberly Greenwald as Senior Vice President of Sales. Together these seasoned veterans of the Ed-Tech Industry bring over 40 years of expertise to the SureScore Management team.

Bodner and Greenwald will assist the existing management team position SureScore for expansion across the nation. For the past 15 years SureScore has partnered with Texas school districts of all sizes to improve academic achievement and to increase the number of college-ready students in the state. SureScore’s proven track record of success in Texas validates the need for college preparation programs for elementary, middle, and high school students across the nation.

Michael Bodner is a Senior Technology Executive with considerable experience in a number of high technology ventures spanning almost thirty years. Bodner was one of the scientists assigned to the Apollo project at NASA while still a young man. Over the years he has also been an innovator and a pioneer in the technology space and is responsible for a large number of methodologies, designs and applications that have influenced the industry during its most exciting expansive phase.

Prior to joining SureScore Bodner was the Chief Information Officer for Infomedia, Ltd., in Sydney, Australia as well as Global Technology Strategy for Thomson and ProQuest.

Dr. Bodner received his B.S. Degree in Physics from Brooklyn College, which is a part of the City University of New York. After his time at NASA he returned to New York to earn his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics at St. John’s University in New York City.

Greenwald is a 10-year veteran of the Supplemental, Intervention, and Digital Content Industries where she has a proven track record of building, developing, and motivating teams to meet and/or exceed all sales goals. In her new role, Greenwald will open and expand new markets as she builds solid relationships with key urban school districts and strategic decision-makers.

Her masterful identification of challenges specific to each district while providing solutions for closing the achievement gap for all students supports SureScore’s mission that all students, regardless of socio-economic background, should be provided with quality college preparation opportunities.

Prior to joining SureScore, Greenwald was responsible for sales strategy and results for Ignite! Learning and Voyager Learning. Greenwald received her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.
