(New York)– Buffalo Public Schools in Buffalo, New York, has adopted CCC! streaming media from New Dimension Media for their over 37,000 students in 46 elementary schools, thirteen high schools, and two adult education centers. This service will allow teachers to augment their classroom lessons with award-winning educational media from providers like Disney Educational Productions, National Geographic Education, BBC Motion Gallery, and more.

Coupled with several recent New York State adoptions in May and June of 2011—including the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, the Broome-Tioga BOCES, and the Sullivan BOCES—this adoption brings the number of New York students using CCC! streaming media to over 100,000.

“It’s become increasingly clear that New Dimension Media’s alignment to the Common Core Standards is attracting attention nationwide as our adoptions increase week after week,” said Albert Nader, President of New Dimension Media. “New Dimension Media is on pace to make 2011 its best year yet.”

“This adoption demonstrates our commitment to increasing our presence on the East Coast,” said Melissa Moreland, Vice President of Acquisitions and Program Development for New Dimension Media. “We are proud to be serving Buffalo Public Schools.”
