National Service Learning Trend Seeks to Enhance Educational Experience

BOSTON—October 21, 2011—Pearson and its career school partners today announced the Pearson Service Learning Advisory Board. The new board will guide career institutions in their efforts to launch and expand upon service learning, which aligns students’ community service with their studies to enhance their learning experiences. Career colleges across the US will be participating in Make A Difference Day, a national day of service learning, on October 22.

The Pearson Service Learning Advisory Board will promote social responsibility and community engagement to bring awareness to educational and career partners across local and global communities.
