DYMO/Mimio announced that two K-12 educators in Mississippi and Texas have been awarded the “Bridging the Gap” grant. This grant from interactive teaching technology provider DYMO/Mimio provides the winners with elements of the MimioClassroom(TM) product suite along with Headsprout reading software for their schools.
Marcie Lindsey, technology facilitator for Mitchell Elementary of Georgetown ISD in Georgetown, Texas, and first grade teacher Angela Victory of New Albany Elementary in the New Albany School District in New Albany, Miss., were named winners of the coveted education technology grant.
This latest endowment in the DYMO/Mimio classroom technology grant series is the first to incorporate Headsprout Reading Comprehension tools, providing research-based instruction that teaches learners how to comprehend text in an engaging, interactive and personalized environment. The program features a patented adaptive design that identifies and tracks error patterns for each user and immediately adjusts instruction to address any weaknesses.
