The College Board is looking to change the way students find their ideal college or university.
The nonprofit organization just launched BigFuture, a new college planning tool. It’s designed to help students customize their planning and application process, step by step. This free resource offers students objective college information in an online, interactive format, with the goal of making college more accessible for all students, the College Board says.
The site includes a self-inventory to help students identify their needs and priorities; advice about campus visits, financial aid, and other aspects of the college application process; a search tool that helps students find colleges that match their profile; resources for exploring potential careers; and more.
