State College, Pennsylvania, March 29, 2012 – Schoolwires Centricity2 Web and content management solution has earned SIF certification from the SIF Association. Conforming to SIF industry standards enables select data to be transferred seamlessly into the Centricty2 product without requiring district users to re-enter information, helping to maintain consistency of data as well as lessening some manual tasks.

According to the SIF association, “the certification program benefits both customers and vendors by providing end users an assurance of a high level of conformance and interoperability between SIF-certified products, and reducing the vendor’s costs and risks involved with getting a product certified. By ensuring their products are SIF Certified, vendors identify themselves in the educational marketplace as an innovative organization committed to open standards for interoperability, enabling applications to interact and share data efficiently, reliably, and securely regardless of the platform hosting those applications.”

“Achieving SIF certification gives our customers added confidence that Centricity2 is a standard-based system,” said Christiane Crawford, Chief Executive Officer and President, Schoolwires.

Under the SIF Certification Program, vendors agree that their product will remain conformant throughout the life of the registration, and that any non-conformance will be promptly addressed.
