On Thursday, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) announced a new mandate that schools notify all parents within 72 hours if a teacher is removed from a classroom for allegations of sexual misconduct with students, the Huffington Post reports.  To protect the presumption of innocence, parents won’t be informed of the teacher’s name, grade level or other identifying information, a district spokesman told KTLA [1].
