(Chicago, IL)- New Dimension Media (NDM) has more than doubled its total number of subscribing students in the first six months of 2012. Recent additions include over 250,000 students added in New York, over 200,000 in Illinois, and over 100,000 in Colorado, Indiana, and Minnesota, with thousands more coming from Wyoming, South Carolina, and Florida. These subscriptions allow students and teachers to access CCC! Streaming Media which provides award-winning educational media to augment classroom lessons.

“We’re pleased that in an era of economic cutbacks, an unprecedented number of schools and districts are finding compelling reasons to make the switch to CCC!,” said Melissa Moreland, Vice President of Acquisitions and Program Development for New Dimension Media. “The first half of 2012 has seen incredible growth for CCC!. We believe this is because schools are recognizing the value we can bring to the classroom—the most competitively-priced streaming educational media with the best content anywhere.”

“These new adoptions indicate that we are doing something right, and demonstrate confidence in our company and our product,” said Albert Nader, President of New Dimension Media.

NDM’s next content update to its CCC! Streaming Media service will occur in September of 2012, when over 300 new programs will be added. Over 200 programs are already acquired and scheduled for another update in January of 2013. NDM’s streaming library now contains a total of over 5,000 full-length programs, and over 100,000 teaching segments from top providers like PBS, Disney Educational Productions, National Geographic Education, BBC Motion Gallery, and others. CCC! Streaming Media also offers more than 400 subject-specific programs for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). CCC! Content aligns to the Common Core standards, and NDM provides all subscribers with supporting materials to help teachers integrate CCC! into their curricula.
