St. Louis, MO — Aug. 15, 2012 – GroupCast, LLC, providers of SchoolReach, one of the fastest-growing parent notification services in the United States, today announced an integration agreement with MyStudentProgress.com (MSP), a leading web-based school management software provider for diocesan K-12 schools. Under the agreement MSP will resell the SchoolReach service and offer first-line customer support.
Thousands of schools based in all 50 states use the web-based SchoolReach system. It allows school administrators to broadcast school notification alerts to parents, teachers, staff and an entire community within minutes, announcing things such as school cancellations, emergency messages, absentee and lunch balance notifications, and bus route change notifications. SchoolReach also offers the CyberBully Hotline, an anonymous two-way, texting-based reporting service that schools can implement to encourage bullying reporting by students who might be fearful of reporting face-to-face.
MyStudentsProgress.com is a web-based school management software solution that includes 20 software modules designed for diocesan school management. The integration between MyStudentProgress.com and SchoolReach will be seamless. MSP users will enjoy direct access to SchoolReach without ever leaving the MSP system and will be able to use MSP reporting and data query tools to target specific groups of parents and staff.
“SchoolReach has an incredible reputation and partnership with Catholic Education,” according to Mike Nissly President of MyStudentsProgress. “We are very excited about the partnership integration with SchoolReach as both of our companies are focused on providing the highest level of technology and customer service to Catholic education.”
Because SchoolReach and MSB are both web-based solutions, schools aren’t required to have on-site hardware or software to access either system. MSP users will enjoy access to SchoolReach through the MSP interface and direct access to SchoolReach through web and mobile apps.
“We are delighted to now offer the power of SchoolReach through MSP,” said Paul Langhorst, SchoolReach chief marketing officer. “The combination of our systems offers MSP users increased ability to effectively and efficiently engage their parents and staff.”
Earlier this year, the company launched mobile apps for parent notification: SchoolReach® for iPhone® and SchoolReach® for Android. The new applications provide school administrators with full access to their SchoolReach system from any iPhone or Android-based mobile device to initiate voice, email and text alerts and review the status of ongoing or completed broadcasts.
