Study Island Launches New Website and User Interface

DALLAS (September 5, 2012) — Archipelago Learning, a PLATO Learning company, has launched a new website and user interface for its award-winning Study Island product, a web-based instruction, practice and learning program built from individual state and Common Core standards. Introducing a fresh look for the popular brand, both the public website and the new user interface allow for administrators, teachers, and students to enjoy a more visual user experience for the already engaging brand.

The new public website features more detailed information for educators, including subpages dedicated to state-specific standards. Providing an intuitive, easy user experience, Study Island’s new site offers information searchable by state, grade level, and content area.

Designed to make using Study Island even easier, the new Study Island user interface offers customers simplified navigation, more streamlined reporting, and more intuitive icons to boost student engagement. It maintains all the features that have made Study Island an integral educational program for educators and students, while introducing usability improvements to make interaction within the program easier than ever.

“Since our website is the first point of contact for many who have yet to experience Study Island, we have expanded the information available to better reflect the product and its state-specific offerings,” said Robin Claterbaugh, director of marketing for Archipelago Learning. “Additionally, we want administrators, educators, and students who use Study Island to enjoy a seamless user experience, so we’ve enhanced the user interface to better meet their needs, bringing even greater ease and access to the programs across all users.”
