Colby-Sawyer College implemented Tools4ever’s UMRA to automate its account management processes and ensure that users – students, faculty and staff – have the correct security settings for all systems used. The college also now utilizes SSRPM so students can quickly address their password issues without having to contact the college’s internal IT department for manual overrides. With SSRPM users can easily click the “forgot my password” button and securely reset their password without contacting the helpdesk.
The college had previously processed user requests manually, including batch processing accounts, and needed a way to improve the efficiency of account management to introduce distance learning and online courses.
