Funds For Learning Announces Free Webinar Series
Coinciding with the Funding Year 2013 filing window, the free webinar series “Cracking The Window” will offer an applicant-centered approach to the filing window from the E-rate experts.
Edmond, Okla. (Dec. 12, 2012) – The Funding Year 2013 Form 471 filing window is officially open and applicants can now begin submitting applications for the upcoming funding year. The Funding Year 2013 filing window will be open for 93 days, closing at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, March 14, 2013.
In conjunction with the Funding Year 2013 filing window, Funds For Learning, the nation’s largest E-rate compliance firm, announces its schedule of complimentary E-rate filing window webinars that have been developed to address specific filing window topics and are designed to appeal to all skill levels.
Beginning on December 12, the Cracking The Window webinar series will take an applicant-centered look at the E-rate program, sharing practical solutions you can use during the upcoming E-rate filing window.
The two-part Cracking The Window webinar series will cover:
- Staying compliant during the procurement process
- Completing required forms
- Retaining necessary documentation
- Identifying ineligible goods and services
The first Cracking The Window webinar will take place on December 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. EST. Registration is free and open to E-rate applicants across the country. Applicants may register here.
“Funds For Learning is dedicated to showing applicants how to effectively manage the E-rate program and a big part of that process is understanding requirements of the filing window,” said Brian Stephens, senior technology and regulatory analyst, Funds For Learning. “This webinar series will focus on navigating the filing window, avoiding common pitfalls, and being aware of regulatory requirements.”
In order to help accommodate holiday schedules, Funds For Learning will offer the second part of the series in January and again in February. As with the first session, the same material will be covered in January and February so applicants will be able to choose the session that works best for their schedule and application planning. Registration for both sessions is now open, but space is limited. Applicants can register at www.fundsforlearning.com.
“E-rate affects approximately 95 percent of the students in the nation, helping their schools receive the funding for much needed data communications and Internet access,” said Verlyne Jolley, compliance and regulatory, director, Funds For Learning. “Knowing that the program has this great of an impact, [Funds For Learning] will be proactive in offering these kind of opportunities to E-rate applicants.”
Funds For Learning offers filing window tools and assistance, as well as full-service compliance services for schools and libraries. Funds For Learning’s award-winning E-rate Manager for Applicants can relieve some of the stress and assist schools and libraries that file a Form 471 for Funding Year 2013.
