January 17th is Kid Inventors Day and the Smithsonian and ePals are marking the occasion by inviting students, teachers and the public to vote for their favorite entries in their second annual student Invent It! Challenge. In nearly 300 entries, Pre-K12 students from around the globe have submitted ideas for original inventions to solve real world problems in their everyday environments and beyond. Help boost this STEM activity by weighing in with your and your students’ choices of the best student inventions from the 16 ePals Choice entries selected from the larger group. Voting is open until February 3rd and happens here: http://en.community.epals.com/smithsonian_on_epals/p/inventionchallenge2012epalschoice.aspx.
