INDIANAPOLIS, April 3 – CurriculumLoft announces the launch of the KUNO 4 tablet, the latest version of its purpose-built for education, student learning device.

Upgrades to the new design include the Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” operating system, a 1.6 Ghz Dual Core processor, Dual Band wireless, and an extended battery life with up to 14 hours of continuous video playback.

The KUNO tablet ( continues to offer a safe learning experience for students with its embedded, root-level CIPA (Child Internet Protection Act) compliant filter, but through a more relevant, interactive vehicle than their traditional textbooks. The device is also “locked down,” meaning school districts have the ability to deliver a customized learning experience to each student and block apps or content deemed inappropriate.

Over 100,000 users across the country have begun using CurriculumLoft’s MLS (mobile learning solution) since it first began offering the KUNO tablet in 2011 for schools’ one-to-one learning programs. Other features of the MLS include digital curriculum delivery to student devices, automated assessment delivery and turn-in, and remote device management.
