Thomas Penfield Jackson has died, and the former U.S. District court judge ruled in 2000 that Microsoft was a monopoly that should be broken up into two companies, ZDNet reports. This part of his decision was over-turned, but what might have happened had the U.S. Court of Appeals upheld his decision to break up Microsoft?
