Social pin-board Pinterest is chock full of ed-tech resources.

As social media continues to influence how educators collaborate and teach, more educational social media sites are available to help educators use ed-tech in the best way possible. Below are five active and connected Pinterest users who have found great ed-tech resources.

Pinterest is a social pin-board, in which “pinners” organize images, which link to websites, into different boards organized by theme. Pinners can re-pin items from other pinners.

Eric Sheninger [2]‘s Twitter Resources [3] board includes tips for administrators and teachers alike, including using Twitter for professional development, how to help teachers overcome Twitter fears, and more. Sheninger’s other boards focus on personal learning networks, Web 2.0, and iPad apps for administrators.
