Chicago, IL – Sept. 12, 2013 – SKO Learning announced today that it has entered into an arrangement with iGroup to distribute Skatekids™ and Ramps To Reading™ throughout Asia Pacific. This partnership will build upon SKO Learning’s growing US educational customer base and will broaden the company’s reach to include Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.
“We are very excited about this new opportunity to offer SKO Learning programs to a broader group of learners and to continue to expand the reach of our organization,” states Alan Aldworth, Executive Chairman of SKO Learning. Since 2007, Skatekids™ and Ramps To Reading™ have been used by tens of thousands of students to build and strengthen executive functioning, phonics and reading comprehension. The results produced by the program have been scientifically reviewed and published in professional publications that have cited the remarkable gains in literacy scores achieved by a variety of diverse student populations throughout entire school districts.
“The addition of Skatekids™ and Ramps To Reading™ continues to strengthen our portfolio and we are excited to offer this program to our customers,” relates Lianghoe Lee of iGroup. The reach of iGroup is vast, and with more than 500 sales professionals, selling to educational institutions and libraries in seven countries, the company is optimistic about the opportunity. “We have seen how the program has helped English Language Learners in the United States and we feel that this will be seen as a solid program to help learners across the region,” adds Lee.
