BELLEVUE, Wash. (Oct. 22, 2013) – EDUonGo, Inc., a company that enables anyone to launch an academy and share knowledge, announces it has secured $530,000 from Circulus Education, a multinational education and angel investor company based in Australia, to fund continued enhancements for its learning environment. Schools, institutions and individuals partner with EDUonGo to host online academies and courses through its cloud-based platform.

“We are very excited about EDUonGo and its wonderful collaborative features,” said Greg Green, principal of Clintondale High School in Clinton Township, Mich. “This learning platform will definitely take our flipped school and transformation process to another level.”

EDUonGo offers a solution for anyone to launch academies and courses within minutes, and provides the necessary resources for an effective learning environment in one place. The company’s platform enables instructors to generate quizzes and assignments, and track student progress with a fully integrated grading system. In addition, students can communicate and collaborate via the environment’s built-in social network.

“Over the last couple of years, we were looking for an e-Learning platform to expand our offerings,” said Nathan Ryu, CEO of Education Institute. “When we found EDUonGo, we knew immediately that its unique features would help broaden our capabilities to reach and connect students around the world.”

Launched in Seattle in 2012, EDUonGo facilitates the opportunity for global teaching and learning, with online academies currently based in the United States, Europe and Australia. In September 2013, EDUonGo was selected as one of 16 finalists in the TechFlash Cup, a Seattle-area startup competition.

Our goal is to foster an environment that stimulates creativity, while motivating and engaging students. EDUonGo brings together the latest tools in technology and social media to help students collaborate, even if they are thousands of miles apart.”
