WALNUT CREEK, CA (November 15, 2013) – Leading Edge Certification (LEC), a national certification program in educational technology and curriculum, is a finalist for the Education Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Innovation Incubator Award Program. The SIIA Innovation Incubator Award Program identifies and supports entrepreneurs in their development and distribution of innovative learning technologies, supporting companies in their efforts to improve education through the use of software, digital content, and related technologies.
Leading Edge Certification – as one of 10 Finalists – will be featured at the SIIA 2013 Education Business Forum in New York in early December. Innovative Incubator Award Program finalists were selected based on key selection criteria, including:

• Level of originality and innovation
