PITTSBURG, KS (December 6, 2013) – Pitsco Education announces the appointment of Matt Frankenbery to the position of vice president for education. Frankenbery oversees customer experience including program design, teacher education, and educational service.
A former middle school teacher, Frankenbery was honored with the Golden Apple Teacher of the Year award in Joplin, Missouri. Prior to joining Pitsco Education 14 years ago, he co-owned Duct-Tape Learning, a middle-level curriculum development company. He holds an elementary education degree from Pittsburg State University.
“Matt’s professionalism, dedication, and passion have made him a valued asset,” said Pitsco Education President Lisa Paterni. “He works with superintendents, principals, executive directors, curriculum directors, and teachers to educate them about Pitsco products and to design programs and solutions that meet the needs of their students. Matt has developed great relationships throughout the country and has traveled tirelessly to increase awareness of Pitsco and all the great curriculum and products we have to offer.”
Frankenbery joins Paterni, CEO Harvey Dean, Corporate Secretary and Treasurer Sharon Dean, and Vice President for Sales Robin White-Mussa as Pitsco Education corporate officers. Frankenbery resides in Frontenac, Kansas, with his wife, Shirley, and their three children.
