CHICAGO (Jan. 28, 2013)—Rainbow Educational Concepts, a full-service product development group with more than 25 years of education experience, named Christina Rodriguez as the company’s new executive vice president. Rodriguez will work closely with Rainbow’s partner-clients on all aspects of the publishing process including market research, prototype development, focus groups and content development.

“Christina has been with Rainbow Educational Concepts since 2005, and has repeatedly displayed her commitment to providing the best service for our clients,” said Judith Coffey, founder and CEO of Rainbow Educational Concepts. “As our executive vice president she will continue to grow these relationships that produce Common Core-aligned instructional materials for students and teachers.”

Rodriguez leads the company’s internal and freelance staff to deliver quality content based on sound pedagogy. For nearly 15 years, she has contributed to the development of highly engaging, industry-leading materials.

Prior to joining Rainbow, Christina taught first grade, Reading Recovery, and worked as a freelance writer. Christina holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Texas A&M University, Reading Recovery Certification, and a master’s degree in education from the University of Connecticut.
