Steve Mauricio Joins Mentoring Minds as Educational Consultant

Brings Extensive Education Market Experience to National Publisher’s North Carolina School Customers

RALEIGH, N.C. – Feb. 26, 2014 – Mentoring Minds, a national publisher of K-12 educational resources, announced today that Steve Mauricio, with nearly 15 years of experience in the education industry, has joined the company as an Educational Consultant. Mauricio will lead the company’s sales efforts in his home state of North Carolina.

“Steve brings a breadth of experience working with schools both in North Carolina and around the country to Mentoring Minds,” said Jessica Goodman, the company’s Director of Sales. “We know that he will be a dynamic addition to our team as he works with schools in his home region to ensure they have the resources they need to accelerate student achievement.”

Steve has held top sales positions at several major education companies, including account manager for Kaplan Early Learning Company and enterprise sales manager for eChalk, Inc. He began his career as a key account manager for School Specialty and also served as regional sales manager for Bliss Products, Inc., a distributor of playground equipment.

Mauricio earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from University of California, Riverside.
