Brings Extensive Education Sales Experience to National Publisher’s School Customers
LOS ANGELES – June 30, 2014 – Mentoring Minds, a national publisher of K-12 educational resources, announced today that Steve Wallace, a longtime education sales executive, has joined the company as an Educational Consultant. Wallace will lead the company’s sales efforts in Southern California and Clark County, Nevada, which encompasses Las Vegas.
“Steve’s long and successful sales tenure within the K-12 market and his mission-minded approach make him a perfect fit for Mentoring Minds,” said Jessica Goodman, the company’s director of sales. “He has built deep and long-standing relationships within the highly competitive Southern California market, providing clients with outstanding customer service and comprehensive needs assessments. Wallace has an extensive sales background covering both the K-12 market and major corporations, including 16 years as a sales consultant for Premier – a School Specialty Company. Prior to his time at Premier, Wallace held sales positions with Giant Bicycle, Inc., Enterprise Rent-a-Car and National Sanitary Supply Company. He began his career with Cycle Service Motorcycles before serving as a realtor associate with Coldwell Banker-Califano Realty.
A Southern California native, Wallace earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach. He resides in San Pedro, California.
