SunGard K-12 Education, a leading K-12 administrative software and technology services company, is releasing a new collection of six web forms for its BusinessPLUS financial and human resources management software. The BusinessPLUS Web Form Productivity Pack is designed to help boost efficiency of a school district’s business operations and support employees with managing travel, expenses, and vacation time.

According to Joel Hames, SunGard K-12 Education’s director of product management, this add-on package of new forms provides often-requested functionality to school district employees. “Faced with increasing demands and decreasing resources, district employees are looking for tools that can improve their efficiency,” says Hames. “These new BusinessPLUS forms—which have been frequently requested by our customers—streamline business operations and approval processes. With these new tools at their fingertips, school district employees can more easily manage their work and personal needs, which can help improve employee satisfaction.”

The collection of new forms consists of the following:

• Budget Transfer Request Web Form. Allows district administrators to request a budget transfer and electronically route the request for approval.
• Travel Reimbursement Request Web Form. Permits employees to request reimbursement for travel expenses.
• Direct Reimbursement Request Web Form. Enables employees to request reimbursement for services, classroom purchases, and miscellaneous expenses.
• Travel Advance Request Web Form. Permits employees to request a travel advance.
• Personal Time Off Request Web Form. Allows employees to request time off and keep abreast of their leave balance.
• New Vendor Request Web Form. Enables employees to request the addition of a new vendor.
By allowing attachments, each of these new forms enables employees to easily submit scans of essential backup documentation, such as receipts, signed supervisor approval, a vendor W-9, etc.
