The series will include virtual and live events focused on industry best practices
Odysseyware, a provider of customizable online courses for K-12 education, announced the launch of its School Transformation Series. The sequence of professional learning opportunities will highlight the unique ways schools and districts nationwide are implementing innovative strategies and new instructional models to transform learning for their students.
These models are ushering in a new era of personalized learning pathways, teacher empowerment, and student choice. With an overall focus on competency-based learning, customization, student choice, and rethinking credit recovery, the complimentary on-site and virtual events will be regularly available to all educators looking to transform how learning takes place in their district, school, or classroom.
The ongoing series will feature weekly blog posts and virtual and live events that give educational thought leaders a platform to share best practices from the field and highlight successful implementations that are making a difference for students and their communities.
“It’s our mission to not only provide high-quality online curriculum to schools across the nation, but to empower all educators and schools to create the best possible environment for their students to learn in,” said Beth TeGrotenhuis, Odysseyware’s president and the CEO of its parent company, Glynlyon. “The School Transformation Series will highlight the best and brightest minds within education, including forward-thinking district administrators, school leaders, support staff, and teachers. We look to create an environment that fosters collaborative learning among educators, something that will make all our schools better for students.”
