Additional resources include The No-Nonsense Distance Learning Resource Guide, weekly webinars to support teachers and districts, ongoing articles and professional learning materials to aid with distance learning, and peer-to-peer communications with OUR’s 6-8 Math community.

“Learning can’t wait. It was important that we move urgently with our partners at Kiddom to pair the highest quality curriculum with their intuitive digital platform and make that accessible so teachers and school districts can successfully expand their distance learning capabilities,” said Jessica Reid Sliwerski, CEO of Open Up Resources. “We also need to better understand teachers’ needs for effective distance learning now in time for the fall. By providing these fundamental services at no cost this summer, we hope to improve equity and help students, teachers, and districts learn and succeed in this new era.”

“COVID-19 has caused many school districts to rapidly set up emergency distance learning programs. At Kiddom, we are committed to helping teachers and learners succeed. We believe the availability of digital high-quality core curriculum, via our partnership with Open Up Resources, can help educators ensure quality and consistency during this rapid transition.” -Abbas Manjee, Chief Academic Officer at Kiddom.
